We produce a comprehensive range of structural steel framing for both residential and commercial construction at our workshop located in Waipu.
Collaborating closely with local builders and construction companies, we deliver quality fabricated steelwork to your engineered designs and coating specifications.
Our offerings encompass a variety of structural steel framing solutions, including beams, portals, and base plates.
We're provide on-site installation, and are equipped to coordinate with your team. We can also facilitate the arrangement of Hi-ab truck for seamless installation processes.
SITE AND PROJECT WORK
Millbridge Engineering specialises in ARC, TIG, and MIG welding along with fabrication services, available both on-site and off-site, catering to various domestic and commercial needs.
With expertise in stainless piping, process pipe spooling compliant with ASME IX standards, and proficiency in confined spaces, we offer the flexibility to integrate seamlessly into your on-site projects.
We are well-versed in pipe fitting and fabrication projects across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring reliable support wherever you need it.
OFF SITE AND WORKSHOP
As of 2025, we’re no longer offering a mobile service or taking on repair work, as we're focused on ongoing contract projects. This also means we’re unable to take on urgent jobs or call outs.

ABOUT
Millbridge Engineering was established in 2019 after 20 years experience working in the mining, engineering and agriculture industries across multiple locations in Australia and New Zealand I decided to settle in my hometown Waipu.
By chance, a purchase of a few acres from an old neighbour, we moved back to the same road as 3 generations of my family had grown up on, overlooking the old family farm on Millbridge Rd.
The next plan came a workshop for the business, and setting our roots back down after adding our final addition to our 6th generation of McLeans in Waipu!
I am focused on providing high-quality workmanship, cost effective solutions, prompt service and customer satisfaction that fits your business or personal requirements.

SAFETY
Safety of is our top priority and so we are committed to following our robust Health and Safety Procedures. We belong to Site Safe New Zealand, and I have current Site Safe inductions and passports. We received a 96% score, and were awarded a Gold 2025/26 SiteWise standard in March 2025.
